An Occupier runs past a burning structure one of his fellow protesters set ablaze Dec. 19, 2011 during the Occupy Denver eviction that was ordered by Mayor Hancock and carried out by the Denver Police at Civic Center Park. Hundreds of police unloaded off of city buses and moved in to evict the Occupy Denver movement from the park. During the eviction the Occupiers set fire to several of their structures and created a giant bonfire in the middle of the sidewalk before being cleared out. A group of approximately 30 Occupiers then marched through the Capitol Hill area until their group was finally disbanded on the 16th Street Mall where a number of the protesters were arrested.
